Description
Grande Dining Room Set stands calm, with a travertine-like stone block leg and Vizyon Matt lacquer surfaces. One side of the table is a thick stone block, the other a slim lacquered plate leg; that asymmetry rescues the rectangular form from monotony, and the rounded corners soften the line. The top is 180x93 cm at 78 cm high. A centre-opening mechanism extends it to 220 cm for a table of eight; the extra leaf comes from inside the table, so there is nothing to store separately. The oval backs and seats of the six chairs are covered in boucle, the legs are in the same lacquer tone as the table, and the backs splay slightly outwards. The 220x90 cm mirrored console gathers up the dinner services in its cupboards and drawer; the bronze glass panel in the middle gives the effect of a display case and warms when the light inside it is on. The 70x90 cm LED-lit mirror above the console leaves a warm frame on the wall. It can be extended into the living room with the 220 cm TV unit and coffee table from the same collection.
