Description

Grande TV Unit takes the living room wall end to end at 220 cm wide. It is 60 cm high and 47 cm deep; with its Vizyon Matt lacquer surface and rounded corners it stretches out without leaving a hard line. The body is divided into five compartments. There are drop-down cupboards at either end, two open shelves in the middle and two wide drawers beneath them. The open shelves leave display space for a vase, books and decorative objects, while the closed volumes hide cables, remotes and daily clutter. The slim gold-coloured handles on the doors and drawers stand as the only decoration on the matt cream surface. The most distinctive thing about the unit is that it uses two different legs: a thick travertine-like stone block at one end and a slim lacquered plate leg at the other. That asymmetry stops the 220 cm body looking monotonous. Because the legs are set inwards, the unit appears to float and the floor beneath stays open for cleaning. It shares its form with the table and console of the Grande collection. Made to order in İnegöl.
