Description

Arinna Corner Sofa is a corner set designed for large rooms, with a low body and a modular build. Its standard arrangement is 340 x 315 cm and consists of five units: a 132 cm right-arm module, a 90 cm intermediate module with table, a 90 cm intermediate module (pawn) and two 117 cm left-arm modules. As all the units are 107 cm deep and 72 cm high, the line holds even if the arrangement changes. What sets Arinna apart from the usual corner sets is this: there is no corner module. On standard corner sofas a square corner module is placed where the two wings meet; in Arinna an arm module goes at that point instead. This is a deliberate design and engineering choice — because the armrest continues at the corner, the seat line is not interrupted, the two wings read independently, and the set takes on a deliberately asymmetric stance. If you are looking for a classic corner with two exactly symmetrical wings, Arinna stands differently; it is designed for anyone who wants movement and character in their living room. The ecru upholstery looks plain and bright. The back cushions are loose and the seat cushions wide and single-piece; the armrests are deliberately kept low so the seating group does not visually divide the room. The slim black metal plinth carrying the body lifts the sofa a few centimetres off the floor for a lighter look. Its best-loved detail is the shelved side table module at the end: a dark wooden top runs at armrest height, and the open section beneath makes room for books and magazines. There is no need for a separate table to set down your coffee cup or the book you are reading. On the intermediate module with table, a dark wooden top sits at the same height instead of a back cushion; in layouts where the back of the sofa is exposed, it works as a console.
