Description
Arinna Sofa Set is a modular sofa set built to the size of your room. Its standard arrangement is two 234 cm three-seaters and one Yomra armchair. In Arinna the "three-seater" and "four-seater" are not ready-made bodies but combinations of arm modules: a right-arm and a left-arm 117 cm module side by side make a 234 cm three-seater, while two 132 cm arm modules joined together make a 264 cm four-seater. Adding a 90 cm intermediate module (a pawn) between them extends the length as far as you like. In other words the size of the set is built around your room; you are not tied to a fixed length. One of the units comes with a table: instead of a back cushion there is a dark wooden top at the same height, so there is no need to buy a separate side table. All the units are 107 cm deep and 72 cm high. Because the back is low, the set does not divide the room, and placed in front of a window it does not block the view. The seat cushions are single-piece and wide, the back cushions loose; the armrests are deliberately kept low. The slim metal plinth carrying the body lifts the sofa a few centimetres off the floor for a lighter look. The armchair in the set is the Yomra: a single chair with a dark timber frame and textured fabric. The corner version of the same collection is sold separately as the Arinna Corner Sofa; there no corner module is used — an arm module goes into the corner and the set takes on an asymmetric stance.
