Description

Luna Dining Room Set is a plain dining set built around an oval-cornered walnut table and a wall-hung console. The table top looks like a single piece; underneath there are two wide pedestal legs, and as there are no legs at the corners, chairs can be added at the ends too, with no knees jammed at a crowded table. The console is the most striking piece in the set. The four-door body is raised off the floor, and in its middle a block of natural travertine-textured stone rises vertically, dividing the body in two. Concealed lighting behind the stone casts a soft light onto the wall. Behind the doors are shelved compartments; the dinner service, table linen and glassware are stored out of sight. There are no handles — the doors open on a touch. The dark grain of the walnut, the light travertine and the bronze-toned metal plinth are used together; this trio brings the console and table of the same series forward in rooms with white or beige walls. It can be extended into the living room with the coffee table, side table and bookcases in the same line. Made to order in İnegöl.
