Description
Ürgüp TV Unit is a three-part living room TV unit made up of a lower block, a wall shelf and a hanging box. The lower block has three wide drawers; instead of handles they are pulled by crescent-shaped recesses cut into the edge of the doors, which keeps the surface smooth and plain. The body is a smoked oak veneer; the corners are not cut sharply but turn on a soft arc. Slim wooden legs carry the unit up off the floor on a sculptural curve, leaving a gap underneath — this both makes cleaning easier and makes the long body look lighter. The slim shelf mounted above the television opens up room for books and small objects without crowding the wall. The box with a vertical door hung beside it gives closed storage; remotes, cables and small clutter go in there. Used together, the three pieces turn the TV wall into a balanced composition; they can also be chosen individually. Made to order in İnegöl.
