Description
Rams TV Unit Upper Block is a box module mounted on the wall beside the television. As it takes up no floor space it is the most practical way to build up the TV wall in a small living room; the floor beneath it stays completely clear. The inside of the module is divided into three compartments. The top and bottom sections are open, giving display space for books, frames and small objects. The middle compartment has a door; the hinged door opens outwards, and when closed any untidiness inside disappears completely. The door face is not a single colour: matt cream lacquer and a travertine-textured panel meet on a diagonal line. Close the door and the module becomes a flat surface like a wall panel, with the stone texture reading almost like a painting. It matches the Rams lower block exactly in colour and material; used side by side, the two build a coherent TV composition. The coffee table carries the same travertine texture.
