Virjin TV Unit Lower Block

Description

Virjin TV Unit Lower Block builds a plain living room TV unit with white lacquered doors and a natural oak top. The long body is divided into four compartments; three have doors and the middle one is a display case. The door of the display compartment is fluted reflective glass. Closed, the things inside look blurred and soft; open, the LED strip inside the compartment lights the shelves. That way decorative objects, a coffee service or collected pieces can be displayed without gathering dust. Behind the other doors are plain shelves; media devices, cables and dinner services stay out of sight. A wooden shelf running the full width beneath the body opens up a second surface for baskets and magazines. The cylindrical oak legs that lift the unit off the floor make cleaning easier and lighten the white body. The small round knob handles on the doors are the detail that completes the Scandinavian line. This pairing of white lacquer and light oak does not spoil the sense of space in a bright room.
