How many cm should a TV unit be?
It is generally accepted that the unit should be wider than the television. Screen diagonals and approximate widths match up like this:
- 43-inch screen: about 96 cm — a unit of at least 120 cm
- 55-inch screen: about 123 cm — a unit of at least 150 cm
- 65-inch screen: about 145 cm — a unit of at least 180 cm
- 75-inch screen: about 167 cm — a unit of at least 200 cm
The lower blocks in our catalogue are 209-220 cm wide and 45-50 cm deep, so they work comfortably with 65- and 75-inch screens. The upper cabinet modules are 30-100 cm wide and arranged to suit the wall.
How high from the floor should the television be?
The criterion is for the centre of the screen to be at eye level when you are seated. The eye level of an adult sitting on a sofa is generally 100-110 cm from the floor. Working back from that:
- The bottom edge of a 55-inch screen: about 65-70 cm from the floor
- The bottom edge of a 65-inch screen: about 60-65 cm from the floor
Because the unit height is between 47 and 62 cm, standing the television on the unit meets that range automatically. If it is to be wall-mounted, bring the centre of the screen to 110-120 cm.
Viewing distance
A comfortable viewing distance is about 1.5-2.5 times the screen diagonal. 2-3 metres suits a 55-inch and 2.5-3.5 metres a 65-inch. If the distance between your sofa and the wall is shorter than that, one screen size down will be more comfortable.
Cables and sockets
Plan so that the socket and internet point fall behind the unit. The lower blocks have openings for cables to pass through; closed compartments should not be filled completely, so that the modem and boxes can ventilate.
Price range
The TV units currently listed are between 5,350 and 160,650 TL. The range is wide because a single lower block and a full-wall solution with lower and upper blocks are in the same category; the dimensions of the modules are written out one by one on each product page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How high should a TV unit be?
The lower blocks of the TV units in our catalogue are 47-62 cm high: Virjin and Rams 52 cm, Viral 57 cm, Grande 60 cm, Adalya 62 cm. The criterion is that, with the television standing on the unit, the centre of the screen stays at eye level when you are seated (100-110 cm from the floor); units of 47-62 cm meet that by themselves.
How high from the floor should a 65-inch TV be?
The criterion is that the centre of the screen sits at the eye level of an adult sitting on the sofa, that is 100-110 cm from the floor. Because a 16:9 65-inch screen is about 81 cm tall, its bottom edge should be 60-65 cm from the floor. Standing it on a 52 cm lower block meets that measurement automatically. If the television is to be wall-mounted, bring the centre of the screen to 110-120 cm.
How wide should a unit be for a 65-inch TV?
A 16:9 65-inch screen is about 145 cm wide. Because the unit should be wider than the screen, at least 180 cm is recommended. The lower blocks in our catalogue are 208-220 cm wide, so they work comfortably with a 65-inch screen.
How wide should a unit be for a 75-inch TV?
A 75-inch screen is about 167 cm wide; a unit of at least 200 cm is recommended for it. The 208-220 cm lower blocks in our catalogue meet that.
How deep is a TV unit?
The lower blocks are 45-60 cm deep and the upper blocks and cabinet modules 24-40 cm. A few centimetres should be left behind the unit so that the socket and internet point fall clear; do not fill closed compartments completely, so that the modem and boxes can ventilate.
What are standard TV unit dimensions?
Lower block: 208-220 cm wide, 45-60 cm deep, 47-62 cm high. Upper blocks and cabinet modules: 30-100 cm wide, 24-40 cm deep, 80-98 cm high. Because the units are modular, lower and upper blocks are arranged together to suit the wall length.
